eTwinning

Despre proiect

Together, teachers and children / young people are committed to promoting international (November 20, 1959, DECLARATION OF CHILDREN'S RIGHTS, 20 November 1989, UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION ON CHILDREN'S RIGHTS) and national (September 28, 1990 Law 18) legislation on children’s rights.

Starting from the quotation of the Irish artist Stacia Tauscher, "We worry about what a child will be tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today", the project aims at both knowing and promoting the children’s rights, as well as their awareness and the child’s role in our contemporary society. Choosing the title in English is suggestive, the term "right" meaning "right", but also "justice".

The central activity, the achievement of the final products - socio-civic projects and literary-artistic creations, has the role of stimulating the participation of children and youth in such activities, as well as of adults, parents, teachers and partner schools’ members.

OBIECTIVE

• knowledge and promotion of children's rights;

• cultivation of communication skills, empathy, tolerance, respect, civic spirit, collaboration;

• stimulating, developing and promoting the creative capacities of the younger generation by producing original products (projects, literary-artistic creations etc);

• developing skills for the use of ICT tools;

• valuing the obtained information and organizing it on maps, albums, panels, power point presentations, videos etc;

• sharing experiences between young generation, families, teachers, representatives of local communities and educational partners;

• developing friendship and collaboration relationships between children, young people and teachers in the school units involved in the project.

PROCEDURĂ DE LUCRU

We will work in partnership with our partner schools. Together we will use the Twinspace of the project. The children and youth from our partner schools will work in teams / groups.

Steps :

1. Knowing each other - exchanging messages between schools, coordinators, children and young people.

2. KIDS HAVE RIGHT - making final products. Works will be uploaded to Twinspace, an online album will be created

3. November 20, International Children's Rights Day. Online exhibition

4. Project evaluation - making an online magazine with the photos uploaded during the project

The project will run from October to November 2017.

• manufacturing the project products;

• the online magazine with its activities, products, experiences and photos;

• promoting the activities carried out within the Methodical Commissions, meetings with parents, public twinspace, school day, national competitions, mass-media, etc.
